Voters in Big Horn county rebuked the local Democratic ring with a Republican sweep. Mondell led Basin with 88 votes, Germania delivered a first for Republicans. county clerks and officials mostly voted Republican while several precincts withholds show the trend statewide. Amendment No. 1 passed decisively with Basin dry and statewide support strong.

Charles Edward English dies Sunday night at the Red Cross Hospital after influenza. He had worked in various parts of the county herding sheep. Relatives in Michigan wired to bury him there.

Robert Steele sixteen son of Robert Steele Worland died at Mexico Missouri where he was attending school from influenza. The remains were brought to Worland on Wednesday and Wm. Gibson traveled from Casper to Casper? to meet Mr. Steele and return the body.
