Free Race Track Access At County Fair
The fair board grants free use of the race track on the fair grounds for speeding events. A half mile of the track is open for use from now until fair time to support race events during the county fair on September 6-7, 1921. Funeral of August Anderson in Basin
The funeral for August Anderson was held at the Baptist church with Rev. Wardlaw presiding and interment in Mount View cemetery. Pallbearers were Neal Anderson John Zane Jay Edgcomb Wm Mardis and W F Johnson. Born in Sweden on August 1 1865 he came to America 35 years ago settling first in Omaha before moving to the Big Horn Basin to ranch west of Basin where he died May 16. He is survived by a brother Carl and sister Christina in Sweden and half brothers Robert H in Detroit Aaron in California and Emil and John in Sweden. He was unmarried and active in Basin Baptist work.

Death of Mrs Davis Prompts Community Sympathy
Mrs Sarah J Davis died last Saturday after a weeklong illness. Funeral services were at the family home led by Rev Eewin Bowling, with burial at Burlington Tuesday afternoon officiated by Hiram Neves. She was about 567 years old and survived by three sons Robert Walter and Ernest and daughter Mrs Elmer Gould of Powell.

The funeral for Fred Grabbert who died May 18 was held last Friday at the Lutheran church in Emblem with Rev W C Rehwaldtoffi- Painting officiating. Born October 9 1846 in Germany he served in the 1870 71 war and later moved to Nebraska Wyoming and Emblem. He leaves three sons William Dan Fred and Harry and four daughters Minnie Brown Alma Avery Mrs Bent ley and Emma.
