Wyoming Public Service Commission orders broad freight cuts
The Wyoming Public Service Commission ordered intrastate freight reductions to July 1 for most commodities up to 9 percent and class tariffs up to 44 percent after a Cheyenne hearing March 2. The Interstate Commerce Commission also issued a July 1 rate cut of 10 percent, excluding agricultural produce, livestock, and western grain. The commission set 5.75 percent as the reasonable future return on invested capital.
