Postal savings plan extends to distant towns after July
A Postmaster General Burleson leaflet announces postal savings accounts by mail for residents in sparsely served areas starting after July 1. Governor Dockery explains how deposits can be mailed to a local post office or ranking post for opening, with withdrawals by mail and government guarantees. The program aims to help farmers and others far from banks, and translations will reach 22 languages.
