Boy Drowns in Greybull Pond Near Big Horn River
Eugene Watson, 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Watson of Greybull, drowned Monday afternoon while swimming with other boys in a pond by the Big Horn river east of the Knode addition. Rescuers failed to revive him after diving for the body. Funeral services were held at the family home in Greybull and burial followed in Greybull cemetery.

Basins Best Booster Honored for Civic Shade Plan
Col May of the chamber of commerce built a Ford runway under a box elder tree in front of the chamber building to shade his Lizzie. Mrs May then drove the car to the shaded area and lost control, bumping the wall and denting the exterior. A chamber member suggested making Mrs May an honorary member for being the town booster.

Drowned at Hidden Dome Camp in Ohio Incident
An Illinois boy employed as a roustabout at an Ohio camp known as Hidden Dome died Friday afternoon after cramping while swimming in a pond following work. Camp workers attempted rescue but he did not survive as a wind and rain affected the area.
