Zane Couple Heads To Park For Ten Day Stay

Mr and Mrs L A Zane and guests Mrs E Sullivan and Cecelia Crow of Ottumwa Iowa left last Sunday for the park to be away ten days.

Remains of Raymond Rees Lewis Laid to Rest

The 11 year old Raymond Rees Lewis died after a lengthy illness and was buried at Mount View cemetery. Pallbearers included A W Coons W B Hartigan and B T Joslin. Born August 2 1906 in Hammond Louisiana and died at his parents home Wednesday morning. The Basin Republican offers sympathy to the bereaved family.

Red Cross Benefit Concert Praised By Local Chapter

The Red Cross musical entertainment at the Rex theatre last night drew a large enthusiastic audience and received encored performances. Mrs. Harry Wright and Mrs. Co. J. Fendrick received notable praise for organizing the event. The Red Cross committee thanks all who assisted in making the concert a success.

Sheriff Wickwire reports the arrest of Malcolm Moore in Cody on grand larceny charges after his camping wagon and team were stolen from Otto road. Fred Carlton Corbett was jailed in Grey Bull as draft age questions led to possible induction. Deputy Fisher travels to Ogden to fetch embezzlement suspect Hunt. Quadruple Oil Co of Missoula hires H. Farewell Reception for Craig Family in Greybull

A farewell reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Hill greybull honored Mr. and Mrs. Chas Craig who left Greybull to establish a new home in Basin. About twenty friends attended with games and refreshments, departing in the early hours after offering best wishes for success.
