Tank Fire Halts Spread at Midwest Tank Farm
A lightning strike last Monday set a 50 000 barrel oil tank near the Greybull refinery ablaze. The fire burned for two days before Midwest and Standard refinery crews with Greybull help prevented spread to adjacent tanks. The full tank was valued at about 150 000 dollars.
