Officers elected included O T Gebhart president and Wm Gibson vice president as membership climbs to 162 with plans for Lincoln's birthday gathering next year.Sen. George D B McClellan visited, early settlers recalled life before railroads, and a racket sale plus lunch are announced for Feb 25 at the Gibson building.

Basin State Bank Elects New Officers After Resignations
Basin State Bank held a board reorganization and elected new officers last Tuesday. Henry Jordan was chosen president, RK A Wise and John Luman vice presidents, L O Gray assistant cashier, with H H Hime retained as cashier and J R O Neil as bookkeeper. The bank reported strong business and praised Hime’s leadership.

Last Tuesday evening in Greybull two Greek men in a car fought over mail matters and Steve Pappas was shot through the breast by Peter Valkenis. Valkenis was brought to Basin and jailed. The sheriff handled the arrest.

Three Young Men Sentenced for Burlington Horse Theft
Last Saturday evening three horses and saddles were stolen from Burlington.
