James D Allen Dies in Basin Civil War Veteran Passes Away
James Daniel Allen a Civil War veteran of Missouri cavalry died at his Basin home on December 3 1910 at age 66 his funeral was held at the Basin Methodist Church with G A R Post pallbearers and a church choir. He left a wife Ann E Allen ten children and 25 grandchildren and was buried with flag and floral offerings.
