Old Timers Saturday Pioneer Picnic At Boothgrove
The Big Horn Basin Pioneer association held its annual picnic last Saturday at Boothgrove on Paint Rock with large attendance. Basin band provided music as old residents renewed acquaintances and shared memories of early days. A grand picnic dinner followed with basket lunches and committee supplied meat. An evening dance at Hyattsville featured the Van Slyke orchestra with Dr and Mrs L G Van Slyke, Hugh Gould, and Prof E C Hoover assisting briefly.

Mrs W R Medford wife of the Greybull Presbyterian minister died instantly when a car she and her husband drove backed over a steep park road cut four miles above Cody dam. Mr Medford survived with injuries, condition unknown. Undertakers Cassell and Cassell prepared to bring the body to Greybull. Mourning residents extend sympathy to the bereaved husband.
