Prizes For Essays On Road Repair Announced
A national contest offers a gold medal to the best essay on the repair and maintenance of earth roads by a boy aged 10 to 18. Logan Waller Page of the U S Department of Agriculture will judge. entries due May 15, 1913. The goal is to raise awareness of rural road conditions and their impact on education and health in the district.

Progress Dinner Continued With County Support Plan
A county progress dinner featured remarks by Mr. Nicely and others on future market facilities via the through line south. President Sullivan urged support for boys planting potatoes. Judge Metz and W. C. Snow offered help. Frank Gapen volunteered to plow plots. A committee including Judge Metz, B. C. Hart, and E. J. Sullivan was named to work with Superintendent Brewer. A Higby discussed the Worland alfalfa creamery link and urged a visit to the Alfalfa club. the alfalfa palace to be highlighted in a Cheyenne Tribune write-up. The meeting adjourned.
