Brighter Prospects for Tungsten Sill Grady Mine Plant
Mine boss Joseph J Fossie gains 1100 in compensation after filing for wartime rare metal ore relief. Sill & Grady lease the Kelly ground with a new 25 hp hoist 12x10 50 hp motor and concrete gallows frame, signaling a modern, safe plant. Geological experts back the claim of a rich but distinct ore body, hinting at a second Kelly mine possibility. Charley Hammell and Chas Norman ready ore runs. Vienna claim by Val Sehmidt is seen as a silver bearing continuation of the true lode.
