Mrs Walter Scott Jack to visit Barstow guest of Mrs Fletcher. G C Compton arrived from Los Angeles with ranch materials east of Barstow. F J Hunter and wife came from Kingman. he works in Santa Fe office at Barstow. Chas Egan attended Elk banquet in San Bernardino. Mrs M D Addison becomes printer at Hollister. D C Henderson Jr returns from Goodsprings Nevada says narrow gauge RR reached Yellow Pine mine, a motor carries concentrates to Salt Lake. D C Henderson Sr in Los Angeles on business. J S Zane family moved to Los Angeles. Donald C Henderson Jr Barstow tailor will visit Randsburg and Johannesburg on the 14th and 15th inst.
Ludlow voters backed recall by 23 to 3 and approved equal suffrage 11 to 16, reflecting strong local tensions. Victor Lascelli has returned from Los Angeles to Roosevelt mine, resuming duties.
Barstow holds Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. and a Christian Endeavor meeting at 7:30 p.m. The topic is Daniel chapter six. Rev Reneson, Episcopal minister from Los Angeles, spoke last Sunday and will speak again next Sunday at the church.
