Mohawk to Resume Operations Soon With New Engineer

Freshmen Initiation at Barstow Union High School
Leonard Soules reports the Barstow Union High School Freshmen initiation last week was a success. Miss Paxton and the decorating committee earned praise for blue and gold decor, the large 23 woven in blue and gold, and the festive activities including games music and light refreshments. Paxton was ill and missed the event. a former student, Mrs. W. E. Fisher, cut her arm through a broken window but was unharmed otherwise.

Barstow Man Marries Pasadena Girl in Pasadena Ceremony
Miss Clara B. Hopping of Pasadena wed Thomas F. McCue of Barstow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Hopping in Pasadena on October 8. About 100 guests attended a pink and white decorated ceremony followed by a wedding supper. The couple plan a honeymoon in San Francisco and Salt Lake City. they will reside in Barstow after November 1.
