Newberry Social Club hosted a costume party at the Fairview schoolhouse on Saturday evening November 1. Over sixty attendees from Newberry and surrounding towns including a group from Boston enjoyed high quality music from a trio featuring Tony Dorance A. A. Dorance and Cuff Barnes. Decorations of witches cats jack o lanterns and a giant skeleton brightened the hall. A Halloween luncheon of sandwiches nuts coffee and apples was served, with apples shipped from Hesperia.
