Last Sunday at the Barstow Santa Fe depot nine special trains brought 200 to 300 delegates each for the Women Benevolent Association convention set for Los Angeles May 29. Carl G. Seims Santa Fe Clerk Laid To Rest
Carl G. Seims, night clerk at the Santa Fe recreation hall in Barstow, died after a period of illness. He worked his last shift Tuesday night and died Wednesday morning after returning home. Funeral services were held in Barstow and the body shipped to Los Angeles for burial.
