Airplane Fails to Reach Barstow From Victorville
A plane advertised to land at Barstow last Saturday did not reach the city, stopping at Victorville after encountering a 75 mile breeze at 2000 feet and an air pocket on the way. The aircraft suffered a damaged rudder during the descent and returned to Los Angeles after patching. Mr Sterrett of the National Airline Association remained to explain the delay. The Barstow municipal field is on the Richeland north of town.
