Stanley Ford Suffer Serious Auto Collision in Victorville
Mr and Mrs Stanley Ford of Victorville were hospitalized after a collision between their motorcycle and a car driven by A A Johnson of Victorville at an intersection Friday evening. Johnson uninjured. Mr Ford with a basal skull fracture and leg lacerations. Mrs Ford with shock bruises and a sprained ankle. Mrs Ford formerly Grace Millett of Daggett. Both Ford and Johnson are well known in Barstow.

Christian Endeavor Convention at Sacramento
Plans for the State Christian Endeavor Convention in Sacramento June 25 to 29 are complete. A grand special train departs June 24 at 7 30 p m for the convention. Four thousand youths from across the state will attend five days of singing and talks with leaders including Evans Brown Hillis Creighton Gates Warner Wright Webb Ross Atkinson. Friday offers recreation on the Delta Queen, river cruise, beach party, and a grand high jinks at McClatchy Park with an open air plunge. Post convention trips go to Zephyr Point Tahoe.
