Day trip through Sonoma to the Mission and valleys
The group visited a plant wizard’s resting place near a cypress, viewed a Luther Burbank memento, and enjoyed barbecue at a school yard. They drove through the Valley of the Moon to Sonoma’s historic Spanish Mission, then rode North Western Pacific Rail to Sausalito, returning to San Francisco by ferry. The clock showed 8:45 AM departure and 11:15 PM return.
