County Coroner J B Hanna examined remains in Barstow July Std over J Travis and Kenneth S Baugh killed in the Santa Fe wreck at Lavie. Both men, camped nearby, had planned to attend a Ludlow dance. Undertakers White and Platt shipped Baugh to Meeker Oklahoma and Trav is to Corsicana Texas. One had served as a ship’s cook in the navy.

Edward Evans bought a Chevrolet sedan from Central garage this week. Mrs. Albert Ray visited from San Bernardino to see Mrs. Pitcher and returned home yesterday. Almer Johnson of Barstow went to Colton for a brief visit, returning Tuesday night. A pajama clad man with Sunday clothes claimed the fire was everywhere, but he resembled Jack Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. McRae relocate to Long Beach for the new school year. The town recalls a warning of a greater fire as a moral reflection, and the church must relocate with help from trustees Henderson MeMul len and Burton Leak. Services are held this Sunday as usual.
