In San Bernardino 80 grocers and bakers met for a banquet to promote local industry and community support. Talks urged cooperation to align supply with public demand and keep spending local, noting two Barstow firms making butter and the payroll benefits if local stores buy locally.
Western Pacific Oil Company of Los Angeles announces its twenty third assessment of four cents per share on all capital stock, payable by February 20 1928 to the Secretary at 415 Hollingsworth Building. Unpaid shares after February 20 1928 become delinquent and will be sold at public auction on March 12 1928 to cover the delinquent assessment and costs. Frank W. Clark secretary.
