Barstow Boy Injured in Automobile Accident
Howard King a sixteen year old Barstow resident was seriously hurt Friday morning when his car hit a dirt hauling truck near Mojave river bridge. He was treated at Dr John Graham’s Harvey House for a broken arm and leg before being moved to San Bernardino hospital. The crash happened around 8:30 near the detour bend before the Mojave river crossing old road. The dirt truck belonged to a viaduct and railroad yard contractor.
