Dr Slocum and Mr W E Sanders toured the Desert Chief Mine north of Barstow on Tuesday. Gillespie operates a core drill on a rich ore body averaging 12 dollars per ton. Sanders says the mine shows promise and the project reflects the faith and energy of the company in its development work.
