The 20 30 Club hosted three visiting women from Newberry and Barstow including the Sischo sisters graduates of USC College of Music. Alfred Wenderson and Miss Ethel Prather were married in the Mission Inn at Riverside on Saturday and are spending their honeymoon at Lake Tahoe. Mrs. Tissel Mulvane announces a new nurse training class at San Bernardino County Hospital beginning September 9. Bones Found In Trunk May Point To Northcott
Deputy Farley reports bones found in a trunk southwest of Adelanto may have been buried by Northcott. The remains resemble a small boy, though no skull was found. an animal skull thought to be a goat was inside. Bones include arm, thigh, ribs, and partly burnt fragments. Northcott previously led deputies to the area while seeking his victims months ago. The trunk, buried four feet deep, was uncovered after dirt caving exposed it. The bones were taken to the county office for examination.
