A Kiss of Death From the Kissing Bug Sighting
John Suchy, bitten by a Kissing Bug last year, narrowly escaped another bite this week. He reports the insect crawled on his chest, turned up at his four miles north west home, and the bug was found on his sheets. The insect, called the Herculeas fly by Indians, is described as brownish, larger than a house fly, and reportedly venomous enough to kill Indian children. university tests misidentified it as not bloodsucking, while Suchy insists it does suck blood and will sting if unmolested. The bug is on display at White and Plati drug store.
