Letter from Santa Fe Bay AEF Germany April 1919
AEF soldier writes from Coeblenz on the Rhine describing life in occupation, rumors of return, and easy living with steam heat. He recalls a 89th vs 4th Division football win, plans for furloughs, travel hopes to Switzerland, Arenberg church, Stolzenfels castle, and Rhine scenery with Germans picnicking Sundays. He notes longing for home and the Liberty Statue.
