Mary Hillis and Mary Sloan hosted a dancing party in Sloan Hall on Tuesday night for students home for Easter vacation. A new shipment of summer hats arrived at Fagerbergs this week. Reese Dillingham and his sister Jean, from Los Angeles, are visiting local friends, while H L Miller of the Hotel Melrose and his children Elizabeth and Forest were in Riverside early in the week. Tom Leedhum, Saraseo, and J W Byers of Long Beach traveled through town en route to Silver Lake to seek land for agricultural and dairy work.
