The 20 year old daughter of Eva Katherine Kaber was found not guilty of involvement in the plot to kill her stepfather Dan Kaber. Eight ballots were taken by the jury during deliberations.
A nine man and three woman jury found Marian McArdie not guilty of complicity in the murder plot of her stepfather Daniel Kaber. The jurors deliberated since yesterday afternoon and were kept overnight in a Cleveland hotel after failing to reach a verdict. Judge Homer G. Powell instructed them on possible verdicts including first and second degree murder and acquittal.
London dispatch reports the League of Nations council has decided a boundary in Upper Silesia. Glei wits Indenburg and part of Beuthen would join Germany, while nenitslivette Kattowitx and the rest of Reuben go to Poland. The line sits north of the Paris conference proposal.
Washington Oct 12—Value of imports and exports of merchandise fell materially in September, with total trade around 18.0 million dollars, the lowest for any month this year. Exports reached 9.25 million, imports 9.0 million, both down sharply from August and year earlier. Silver imports dropped to 4,240 dollars, while silver exports for September rose to 4.16 million, but still lagged behind the prior year.
