John Cunningham, 58, was found dead at his Plains home after a fire badly burned his bed and room. Neighbors reported he was last seen Friday. he lived alone. His body was removed to Barnard undertaking rooms. Survived by two brothers, Thomas and James, and sister Mrs. Lawrence Crahan.
Clinton Keith born 1840 and longtime Hartwick resident dies at his East Hardwick home. His body will be moved to Barre for interment in the Keith family plot at Woodrow Cemetery. He was survived by his wife and two daughters Mrs Charles D Swasey of Waterbury and Mrs Newton, wife of a Cambridge physician. Funeral services planned in East Hardwick with burial to follow via Central Vermont railway.
