Three men robbed a Cherry Street restaurant early this morning and tortured Diego Lacale. They slashed his face, robbed him of 146 dollars, and dangled him from a rope before fleeing. He was found in serious condition and taken to the hospital.
Boston March 10 the fifteen hundred members of the fourteen union divisions of the Orders of Railway Telegraphers are present at a session of arbitration and adjustments committees. A mass meeting is planned for tonight. Representatives chosen yesterday will meet railway management soon to present telegraphers’ demands with New Haven and Maine Central lines among those named.
Arthur Yorley former clerk at Third National Bank of Pittsfield pleads not guilty before United States Commissioner Wood on charges of abstracting funds. Feeley waived complaint. Yorley held for grand jury session. Koil and Kenley charged with misappropriating $2000.

She then tried to kill herself with a hammer and a dull knife, later leaping into the river Hammoonaset but surviving and seeking help. Examines showed bruising on her head and throat marks supporting her story of an attempted suicide.
George Shanley a capitalist and cattle raiser was shot and killed near a Chinese restaurant by City Marshal Anderson during a quarrel. Anderson surrendered to authorities after the shooting in Globe Avia March 15.
New York March 13 The $10,000 prize for the fastest flight from Belmont Park to the Statue of Liberty and return was awarded to Count Jacques de Leeseps. Moisant and Grahame-White are disqualified. De Leoseps set a 30 minute 24.51 second era while Grahame-White timed 46 minutes 21.91 seconds.

In St Albans on March 15 Judge N M Post heard Horlon Stearns and W C Curtin charged with burglarizing the Champlain Hotel in Morrisville.
