President Wilson and Secretary of State Tirgan communicated by private telegraph with the Niagara Falls mediation today. Bevan reported the deliberations were proceeding satisfactorily and a mediator expressed confidence obstacles would be surmounted.

Workers at Hays Bread and Waxwell Co. joined a general walkout led by IWW members after a raise was granted yesterday. About 25 employees struck today, following 400 others who struck yesterday in a broader labor action linked to AF of L affiliated workers.
Burlington June 11 a quarrel ended with William Francia of Mallets Bay stabbed Monday or yesterday. Francia’s condition is described as more favorable to recovery. The assailant remains at large as authorities pursue him, while state and local officials investigate the scene and hospitalize the wounded man. The weapon reported used is said to be a jackknife.
Governor Fletcher and State Superintendent Mosun 8. Stone attended the Barre Town graduation at the East Barre Opera House last evening. Ten students completed courses and passed state board exams to enterta high school. The program featured solos, choruses, and a certificate presentation, with Supt. Seager commending progress and Ralph E. Martin earning the high school entry certificate for East Barre.
A morning fire at the Mullinckrodt Works roof caused about 2000 dollars of damage. Officials say nitrate of soda fumes hampered firemen and threatened explosions. The plant spans over a city block and is valued at more than a million dollars. One man was injured.
A 12 year old bicyclist Archin Bruseaw and a motorist D J Morse collided near Keith avenue and North Main in a morning accident. Bruseaw suffered a head wound and leg pains while Morse helped the youth into a car and drove to Dr I H Wondruit’s office for treatment. Witnesses agree both vehicles moved slowly and Bruseaw’s bicycle was wrecked.
Mrs. Ronard Lambert dies at 1 o clock last night on Thomas Street from long illness. Survived by her husband William Thompson, her brother and three sisters in Maine and Harre, with many relatives in the city. Born in the city years ago as Nina Thompson, she became Mrs. Lambert in February 1910. funeral arrangements not yet made.
Mrs Pauline Fisher wife of Bud Fisher the cartoonist was 60 seriously injured when two autos collided on the Bagelos ter road. Five other occupants suffered injuries. Mrs Fisher 23 years old and pinned beneath the overturned Lamb car. The crash involved Lawrence G Lamb driving the other automobile as part of a party of four.
Burlington June 1 Willis V Parr travel ing agent for The Prep Press is confined to his bed at his home on North Union street after his automobile turned turtle beside a Fletcher bridge over a brook. He may have internal injuries. The vehicle struck a rail, plunged off the bridge, and landed bottom side up in the brook. Farr was pinned against a tree, freed himself, and reached Mr Clark’s home where Dr Potty and Dr Flanders attended him. He was ready for removal to his city home.
A Montpelier Seminary commencement concluded with thirty seniors graduating. Walter J. Bigelow presided as orator. Maidene Elsie Walbridge delivered the salutatory and Clifford Francis Dodge the valedictory. Diplomas were awarded across Academic and Music courses with numerous prizes announced.

John Hackett longtime Woonsocket truancy officer suffered critical injuries after a kerosene lamp exploded in his home. He was taken to Woonsocket Hospital in a grave condition with reports he is greatly burned.
A steamship arrived at Tampico via Laredo carrying ammunition for the constitutionalist army. The vessel anchored off the city wharves and is scheduled to discharge its cargo tomorrow.
Mrs. Frank Dotvege of 4 River Street died at City hospital this morning at 7 o clock after a two week illness. Survived by husband, her father Louis Cofcombe, seven children Francis Marguerite Havelock Paul Wilford Ghatys Wilton, two sisters Mrs John Cayla Barre and Miss Ida Cobowmibe Willimantic, six brothers William Coloumbe Somerville MA Walter Coloumbe Los Angeles CA Joseph John George Henry all of Tarre. Elizabeth Coloumbe born in Chary WY 39 years ago and married in that place about seven years ago Frank Te Fangers. The funeral will be held from St Marys Italian at Latins morning in Coleloth. Interment will be in Catholic cemetery on Berkley street.
Goddard Seminary held Alumni Day with Harvey E Averill of Barre elected president. A morning gathering featured reunions from many classes and a formal meeting in the chapel with reports by Miss Stalin A Molland. An afternoon program included musical performances and reflections on the school’s growth and future plans.
Florence HH Sturtevant of Hartland led the procession at the alumni dinner held after the 1914 class exercises. Rev Mr Scott presided as the alumni association and faculty joined guests for the post dinner program featuring speakers Judge H Darlir Ex Mayor James Estee Rev J H Reardon and Atty John W Gordon.
Close day exercises for Cindilard were held in the school chapel yesterday afternoon before a gathering of students Junins and friends that filled every available seat and left a sizable overflow of visitors who waited while the usher were procuring extra seating. The attendance and the meritorious manner in which the program was given augured well for the continued events.
A lively alumni dance and concert closed Shaulding's commencement observance in Howler hall. Nearly 80 couples enjoyed the evening with orchestra music, vocal solos, and a Highland sword dance in costume. Committees led by Principal and Mrs. Carrell Ho White organized the program with careful detail and generosity.
A buggy rear end accident on a hill in Rost injures Mrs Nel Nelson as a car driven by George Demerett slows down to stop. The wagon drags Mrs Nelson several yards while onlookers render aid and police arrive to manage the scene.
The Burlington based Vermont Masons finished its session in Burlington with Charles H. Darling elected grand master. Other officers named include H. F. Stansard of Barton deputy grand master, D. M. Elliott of White River Junction grand senior warden, Edward J. Wells of Lyndonville grand junior warden, C. Williams of Proctorville grand treasurer, H. L. Ross of Burlington grand secretary, F. J. Hill of Newport grand senior deacon, Riswell Blvod of Townshend grand junior deacon.
During Masonic week in Burlington the Grand Imperial Council of Med Cross of Constantine for Vers hint elected officers led by Grand Governor Henry B. Root of Newport and Grand Senior Warden Jol H. Whipple of Manchester. The Vermont Masonic Veterans Association also elected officers including Venerable Chief George F. Leland of Springfield and Treasurer Charles A. Calderwood of St Johnsbury. An illustrated lecture by Mont Eminent Everett Benton of Boston on a South American trip followed.
Florence Myrtley Cummings and James A. Cumin of Websterville wed at the Rock home with Rev. EL FL Newell officiating in a pink and white ceremony. The couple, relatives and friends celebrated with gifts as they plan a Northeast trip and return to Websterville. Florence, a Spaulding High School graduate, had been employed at the Websterville post office.
