Britain and France accept President Wilson's plan for German colonies. The League of Nations would administer the former German territories captured in the war, according to Captain Andre Tardiet.
Paris reports that Britain and France accept in principle President Wilayn's plan for mandatory administration of captured German territories, subject to conditions. Australia and New Zealand premiers Hughes Botha and Master express reluctance to discuss the peace conference stance, declining to comment further.
Paris January 30 The Paris peace conference has received no formal reply from the Russian soviet government to the invitation for Russian governments to attend. The Russian committee in Paris is expected to formally respond in a few days and it appears they will decline to sit with any Bolshevik representatives. Caucasus and Omsk governments unite in support, Techaikovsky of North Messia sails from Archangel to confer with the committee.
Washington D C January 30 members of the House Interstate Commerce Committee debated demanding the names of witnesses from the Federal Trade Commission after five leading meat packers testified on charges of combination to control meat. Representative Winslow pressed the demand as T L H Wilson testified, a motion gained support but final action was postponed.

The bank handles the due payments, effectively extending credit to subscribers. About 400 million remained to be paid today to fund the 640 million fourth loan.
