The crew lists include 15 officers and 41 men of the 6th anti air section, nine officers and 264 men of the 12th anti aircraft division, two officers and 40 men of coastal company No 22, five officers and 118 men of the 100th trench mortar battery, and nine casual officers plus nine civilians of the M C A and K of C field forces.

Washington January 10 The House naval subcommittee approved a temporary naval force of 225000 men for the year beginning next July as part of the naval appropriation bill. The size is 25000 fewer than Secretary Daniels had urged in his recommendation.
Private Jensen, born April 11 1890 in Rashperg Denmark, died of pneumonia while overseas after enlisting from Bristol Connecticut. He served with Mrs A W Allen's party and last communicated November 23 noting recover hopes. Survived by sister Mrs Mary Larsen Denmark parents residing abroad.
Robert M. Cruden dies in Benton. Funeral held at AW & Co undertakers. Pastor Goodspeed officiated. Hymn Abide with Me sung. Burial at Hope cemetery. Survived by Grace Cruickshank Cruden wife, son Robert Jr, father, sister, and six brothers in Scotland. Cruden belonged to Clan Gorton and the Granite Cutters' International Union.
In spring 1945 the Catholic Order of Foresters defeated the Ancient Order of Hibernians 47 to 3 powering a total of 150 games. Captains from both sides were chosen to organize pool and card contests, with the Hibernians forfeiting a supper to the Foresters next week.
Walter Honsinger, 40, a prosperous Swanton farmer, killed himself yesterday at home. After breakfast he spoke of hardship, then used a shotgun in the summer kitchen. His wife found him later in the barn. He left a widow, two stepchildren, a mother, and a sister. Officials cite possible mental derangement and prior threats of self harm.

Bethel Jan 10 Te B Moore a boardet at the Bethel Inn was badly injured last evening in a toboggan accident on a Tough course near the hotel. Companions included CG Clifford and Gillan Marshall who steered from the rear. The toboggan crashed into a piaxa port near Ant Avicolli's residence. Moore, front rider, suffered a serious rupture and possible operation may be needed. Moore is from Newark New Jersey and known as Vat Moore. Clifford escaped with a skin injury to the lower leg. others were not seriously hurt.
A nighttime break into the Red Cross Pharmacy yielded a haul near 40 dollars in cash and cigarettes. Police traced chisel marks from the Rowell shop, found a packing-box tool, and noted tracks toward a caboose on the rear railroad line as investigators follow plausible robbery theories.
Officers of the Harre Hotel company disclosed at yesterday afternoon’s annual meeting that 1200 overran funds were needed to balance operations, borrowed to cover costs, and no stockholders’ interest or dividends have been paid. Despite losses, management pledged to maintain high standards as officers were elected, including Ladd, Varnam, Reynolds, Mila, Trow, Hooker, and Gite.
