Burlington August 17 A naptha launch carrying members of the Vermont Association of Boston from the Chateaugay to Keeler's Bay capsized in rough water. George Couture of Burlington drowned while Mrs Fletcher D Proctor wife of Vermont's governor was pulled from the water after a dramatic rescue. Mr Proctor and others assisted, life belts debris, and a relief fund was started for Couture's family.
