Plymouth April 3 A fatal collision during night maneuvers off the Isle of Wight sank the destroyer Kiger with 38 dead and 25 rescued. The cruiser Berwick also suffered casualties, with Lt Middleton among the drowned. Rescue tugs work through the night to recover bodies.
