In New London on April 2, attorney William KR telephoned for doctors to come to his home at once. They found him and his wife dead in bed from gunshot wounds. A revolver lay nearby. Both were about 43, with nervous trouble noted. No motive is known.

Fred W. Feagan died in Barre City Hospital after a six year residence here as K. Abbinalt Brothers agent. Born in Kentucky, he faced typhoid fever then Bright’s disease following a trip for business. Survived by his father and two Kentucky sisters, the funeral will be at the Barre First Baptist Church with Rev. Thayer officiating.
