Capt W D Redding, aged about 77, farmer and longtime Barnesville resident, died Wednesday September 21 after weeks of illness. He lived with his son Hon John F Redding on Forsyth street and was a devout Methodist and active church member. Funeral services were at the Baptist church with elders speaking of his liberality integrity purity and kindness. The community and Masonic lodge extend sympathy as burial occurred in the Methodist cemetery with resolutions praising his Christian life and character.
