Dr. J. E. Colbert Dies of Morphine Overdose
The Rock community mourns the death of Dr. J. E. Colbert after taking an overdose of morphine. Dr. H. Perdue rushed to his side after a message Friday, but all efforts to counteract the poison failed. Colbert, a physician and prominent local figure, had been in Barnesville recently and was said to be in good health before his death.
