Funeral Notices for Mr and Mrs Joe Head
The death of Mr Joe Head and his wife was reported in Opelika Post notices. Mr Head died Friday at 11 and was buried Saturday at 6. Mrs Head died Sunday morning and was buried Monday in the same grave. Rev G S Anderson led services. Mr Head had a mason burial. Gen Geo P Harrison of Opelika attended. The couple left five devoted daughters, noted as a loss to Auburn and the community.
