Mr Williamson Hurt In Southwestern Railroad Wreck
Mr T J Williamson a mail agent for Central sustained a dislocated shoulder and other injuries when a train collided with an open switch on the Southwestern railroad near Montezuma last Saturday night. The engine fireman was killed. Williamson and the fireman were the only injured. The wreck caused heavy damage to the engine and cars. Williamson was brought to Barnesville Sunday and is improving at Matthews Hotel.

Murder near Milner shocks Georgia town
Early morning on the Milner road Bud Matthews a sixteen year old boy is shot by Charley Peach a thirty year old man. Peach reportedly claims a fourth victim with two deaths. Sheriff Gwyn pursues Peach as locals fear a hanging if caught and tried. All suspects resided on W H Bolton's plantation.
