Senior Entertainment to the Freshmen Delights College With Thackeray Play

On Friday afternoon October 25 seniors staged Adelaide Requa’s dramatization of Thackeray’s Rose and the Ring for freshmen and the college. The audience praised the cast with lively laughter as Margaret Yates led as Countess Gruffanuff and Marie Young as Prince Bulbo among others. Costumes, mostly homemade, drew high marks despite a few missed cues and memory slips, while four soldiers mimicked thirty thousand with notable imagination.
