Olympic swimmers hold Barnard Pool exhibition
Olympic swimmers presented an exhibition meet at Barnard Pool on Monday November 2. Notable athletes included Aileen Riggin Doris O Mara Virginia Whitenack Carin Nilsson Ethel McGary and Agnes Geraghty from Barnard with events and demonstrations in free style breast stroke back stroke medley and diving. The Barnard students staged initial races followed by odds versus evens and a life saving race won by the odds. The program concluded with a medley relay featuring both groups.
