City students join farm work for summer

One hundred ninety nine city college students abandon studies to work on farms this summer. Miss Alice Finegan says the harvest job will be learned in under ten lessons though tasks are heavy and hours run from 6 a.m. to at least 2 p.m. Farmers will pay by the quart and limit handling of machinery for novices. Housing varies with camps and tourist houses used by farm girls who organize meals with a chief cook.
