The Freshman basketball team will play Emanon of Mount Vernon on Saturday afternoon February 22 at Mount Vernon Armaory.
The Play Committee has selected The Rivals as the Undergraduate Play to be presented in April. Girls wishing to audition must submit name and preferred parts by January 29th, with availability on weekdays and times. Edna Cara Chapin, class of ’62, chairs the committee.
At the January 22 cabinet meeting the president was empowered to appoint delegates to the World Student Volunteer Convention in Toronto. Delegates must be submitted to the General Committee by February 1, with Miss Peters seeking suggestions.
All members of the Y W C A are requested to pay their annual dues of 50 cents. Treasurer Mary F. Harrison notes dues for 1903 should be remitted promptly.
All members urged to pay annual dues of $1.15 to the sub-elector of their class immediately.
Columbia outlines a busy slate across January to May featuring indoor track events at Columbia Gymnasium and away venues including Knickerbocker Athletic Club and Boston Athletic Club. Intercollegiate duels with Syracuse Penn Princeton and championship meets in New York underline a diverse winter to spring season. Hockey clashes mark February dates with Princeton Brown and Yale. A joint Columbia Yale basketball and fencing meet on February 21 wraps with a dance.
