The notice states that the item was entered as second class matter on October 19 1928 at the New York New York Post Office under the act of March 3 1879.

The Mortarboard Representative Assembly will consider whether the Mortarboard is a school publication or a senior one. If treated as an all campus yearbook undergraduates would fund it through Student Activities fees and all students receive a copy.
The Undergraduate Journal invites essays from all fields with February 20 as the submission deadline. Editors note few submissions have come from outside the English department and encourage Barnard students to submit their best work from sciences and other disciplines.

Barnard College students lead the Gilbert and Sullivan Society Spring production The Mikado directed by Robert Binder with Musical Director Mark Schlefer. The new uncut version features a 25 member chorus and 10 principals opening April 7 for five performances through April 10.
A magazine tribute to John F. Kennedy edited by Jeff Greenfield presents speeches and photos with the theme A Genuine Community of Nations. It includes statements about the assassination alongside the president’s speeches, praised for taste though with some incongruous eulogies. priced for NSA orders, with free copies for foreign students.
