Barnard Closes McIntosh Center Weekends After Low Attendance
The policy, approved by Jane Moorman after consulting Servomation and the College Activities Office, closes the McIntosh student center on Saturdays and Sundays starting January 27 28. Attendance on weekends was 12 to 26 people with lunch the busiest time, and rising costs plus security concerns drove the decision. No student employees lose hours. weekend events will be carried through or rescheduled.
