Barnard College students are reminded to buy tickets for Wigs and Cues, touted as a premier outlet for self expression and practical experience for playwrights, artists, actresses, musicians, and stage staff, while supporting war work and college life.
Tonight and tomorrow Wigs and Cues presents three rehearsed plays in a canteen benefit. The production promises a worthwhile show and invites the public to attend, boost box office receipts, and support the war effort.
Barnard College Social Science Club voted to support the President and Administration in pursuing the war, while a ballot protest maintained the group as nonpartisan and nonpropaganda. The protest favored open discussion and rejected taking a formal written stand.
Notices for departmental honors require conformance with pages 73 74 of the Announcement and must be filed with the Registrar by 4 P M on December 10 1918 after first conferring with the relevant department. Enrollment in special prizes does not count as honors. Candidates should complete at least six points in the honor subject with possible cross department work.
The Social Science Club debates a constitutionally allowed but spirit of self government issue regarding the Undergraduate Association recommendation to Barnard chartered clubs. The group votes to contribute to Mortarboard for a war work page and plans a study group meeting in the Little Parlor on Tuesday December 10 at 7 30 P M all members invited.
