New Independent Barnard Curriculum Committee Formed
A new independent faculty Curriculum Committee at Barnard marks a forward step to improve the Barnard curriculum. Led by Professor Peardon the group aims to study curricular issues and consider actions if necessary. The Bulletin plans future articles on problems studied by both committees and will publish an interview with Peardon.

The Jumble Shop on West Eighth Street in Greenwich Village blends art, history, and dining in a former brick stable turned studio and antique shop. Since 1920 it has hosted figures from Edison to Dreiser, Martha Graham to Cole Porter, with wall art renewed as works sell.
