Prohibition seen as symptom of social upheaval says Raiguel
Dr Earle Raiguel of the League of Political Education argues prohibition reflects a broader social revolution. He cites crime unemployment and waves of change, dismissing the idea that prohibition alone causes unrest. He cautions Congress will remain dry and politics will keep it a talking point while praising the Five-Power Pact and urging a steadier foreign policy. He predicts future power dynamics with Japan and China, noting Orient and Occident shifts as the era progresses.
