Students at Barnard faced crowded housing as returning veterans swell demand. A plan to house about 50 more residents in Brooks and Hewitt is outlined after Johnson Hall shifts to graduate housing. Possible measures include triple occupancy in Hewitt, beds in Brooks, and merging adjoining Brooks rooms to fit four in the two smaller rooms.
